Vouch for them.

Ali Taiyeb
We worked together  •  Director, Strategic Alliances and Global Development, Pakathon and DiverseCity Fellow, 2014-2015, CivicAction.
Towa has a solid track record of over 15 years of pure entrepreneurial pursuit. She's navigated industries, broken records and brought innov ... ative solutions to the Canadian market. Towa wants to do it big and lives and breathes as an entrepreneur.
Joan Pierre
They're my mentor  •  Executive Producer for a 2015 Pan Am - "PANAMANIA CULTURAL presentation", Joan Pierre & Associates.
A risk taker is key and she has that drive to try any idea that pops into her head
Julia (Wilson) Deans
They're my mentor  •  Chief Executive Officer / Chef de la direction, Futurpreneur Canada. Previously Chair, Ontario Expert Roundtable on Immigration.
Towa IS an entrepreneur. She comes up with big ideas, she's drven to pursue them and garner the support they need, and she's not afraid to d ... o the heavy lifting and risk taking hat come along the way. She's already learned a lot of hard lessons, and I am sure she has more to come, but she's also got a lot of good experience behind her and I am excited to see where she takes it next.
Adrianne Yiu
We worked together  •  Project Officer, CivicAction. Previously Project Coordinator, CivicAction. York grad.
Towa is an driven entrepreneur who is not afraid to take risks. Towa is currently one of 25 participants selected to participate in CivicAct ... ion's DiverseCity Fellows, a one-year leadership development program for civic-minded rising leaders. The program provides access to the region’s top influencers and a unique platform for community-focused action. Through the program, Towa is working on a team project to create a holistic shared working space that incorporates co-working, childcare and co-learning for parents and children. Towa's team was one of five finalists that participated in CivicAction's annual 'Dragon's Den' event and pitched their project to a panel of distinguished judges for a chance to win initial funding, resources and profile.
Jason Marin
We worked together  •  Project Manager, Co-Pilot Network, CatalystsX. Previously Recruitment Coordinator - Latin America, University of Toronto.
Towa is the kind of social entrepreneur who is driven to develop innovative solutions to a present social issue by combining her entrepreneu ... rial skills with a passion for positive impact. She is resourceful, driven, intelligent and cares about the various communities of which she is a part of. Importantly, she is also a team player and is not afraid to take risks. In fact, she embraces them in service to her entrepreneurial goals and vision. These are all attributes of her character and personality that I have perceived from learning about her work in cofounding a coworking space in Toronto (Cultiv8tor) for entrepreneurs who are also parents of young children. She has observed a need in her community, worked with a colleague to prototype the idea, build a team, secure funding. and they are now well on their way to turning their idea into a viable enterprise. Cities like Toronto are well-served by social entrepreneurs like Towa.
Matt Rempel, MBA
They're my advisor  •  Associate Dean, Accessible and Co-curricular Learning, Sheridan. Previously Board of Directors, Toronto Kiwanis Boys and Girls Clubs.
Towa has imagination, the ability to think creatively, and the passion for entrepreneurship.

Director, Strategic Alliances and Global Development, Pakathon and DiverseCity Fellow, 2014-2015, CivicAction.
His ability to see the big picture and lead a team of volunteers, donors and technical specialists to a successful end goal is what makes hi ... m a great entrepreneur. Always looking for a new way to solve every day problems!

Joan Pierre
Executive Producer for a 2015 Pan Am - "PANAMANIA CULTURAL presentation", Joan Pierre & Associates.
Joan has had her own business for over twenty years. Serving the public in every way from small events to large multicultural festivals, Joa ... n has always lead her teams to success. As my mentor for over a decade, I've learned how to be an entrepreneur, mother and city leader from this woman - an exemplary arts entrepreneur!

Neluka Leanage
We worked together  •  Outdoor Experience + Outdoor Data. Founder/Principal, modemaps/groundSHIFT. Chair, PlaceInteractive. UWaterloo, UToronto + UGuelph grad.
Neluka is passionate about the field she works in - green spaces. So important to have someone driven and organized with great connections ... when you are working on a new paradigm shift for an entire community. I would follow her and her team into the darkness as she is able to illuminate complex issues so you understand and feel the passion.
