How I like to work with people As a Cofounder

In the past I've found a co-founder relationship works best when we have complimentary skill sets and can be honest with each other about strategy and direction for the company. Starting a business is hard on everyone's emotions, sleep, and nerves, but being able to work through problems is the way to make work work.

Matt is a leader who is extremely intelligent and hard working. He takes nothing for granted. He is also very open to new ideas and has a ... thirst for learning. Matt is very easy to work with. He communicates well and is respected by both executives and employees. As a person, Matt is very honest and compassionate and has great people skills and is a great motivator. I had a great experience working with Matt and always value his judgement and character. It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Matt as an entrepreneur in the highest regard.

We worked together  •  Principal, Fathom Law. Previously Shareholder, LeClairRyan.
I worked very closely with Matt on his prior venture, which resulted in a successful exit to a very large media conglomerate. Matt had the v ... ision to found the business at a time when the industry was nascent and built it into one of the largest and most successful companies in the industry. Matt's combination of technical expertise and business sensibility is a rare and very valuable combination in a founder, and I would happily work with him again in any capacity. He's also a great guy and someone who I am proud to call a good friend.
Richard Bengloff
We worked together  •  Adjunct Professor, Hunter College and Adjunct Professor, Fordham University - Graduate School of Business Administration.
Matt has prior success in incubator environments and was very adaptable in showing the initiative needed in the every changing music space
