You Should Know About Me

Key Strengths

Outsourcing • Fundraising • Leadership • Entrepreneurship • Startups

Key Accomplishments

I've started and/or run multiple companies in Seattle and around the world. In Seattle I was the founder and CEO of DocuSign, Point.com, Acora Growth Solutions, and Primus BioVision before starting Metabrite. I also started and ran a $100MM+ technology company in Switzerland for 3 years.

I'm passionate about entrepreneurship in every form, and in particular about building a strong and sustainable base of resources in the Seattle area for startups.

How I like to work with people As a Cofounder

My particular skill lies in creating successful business models for new technology, then in finding the money and team to pull it off.

As an Advisor

I currently advise for 5 companies and find that taking 1-2 hours or so every month to talk strategically with the CEO is very beneficial. I also make myself regularly available for calls and email support.

Vouch for them.

Gilad Berenstein
They're my advisor  •  CEO of Utrip with passion for travel and for combining the best of Human and Machine Intelligence. Advisor to several exciting startups.
Court is as bright as they come, as creative as can be, and one of the best advisers I have ever worked with. When he joined our businesses ... things got better and continue to do so ever since. When I need advice or council Court is my first call and he is always ready and willing to help.
Tom Killalea

Gilad Berenstein
We worked together  •  CEO of Utrip with passion for travel and for combining the best of Human and Machine Intelligence. Advisor to several exciting startups.
Court is thoughtful, smart, and highly experienced. He has been an advisor of Utrips for over 3 years and we are grateful for his help. At ... a key time Court was one of the main braintrust partners who helped us update our strategy and supercharge growth.

Grant Canary
They're my advisor
I've been advising Grant for almost 4 years and remained intimately involved as he negotiated the sale of his company. I've also been a ment ... or as he adjusted to working for the new company. He's been a thoughtful, resourceful and hard working individual all the way along. He listens well and asks lots of great questions. He takes responsibility and follows through on his commitments. He's a solid entrepreneur and would make an even better founder now that he has one such experience under his belt.

Russ Aldrich
We worked together
I've worked with Russ on several projects and can vouch for his entrepreneurial drive and talent. He knows the game from all sides (investor ... , exec, founder) and how all the pieces fit together. I respect his opinions and would work with him any time.

Stan Sorensen
They're my friends  •  Vice President, Koverse, Inc.. Previously Mentor, University of Washington Center for Commercialization.
I've known Stan for three years and have come to appreciate his entrepreneurial talents. I've personally recommended him for CEO or exec rol ... es in several startups, and think he'd be a terrific asset for an early stage company.

Joe Scalone
They're my friends  •  Vice President, Board of Directors, Kirkland Arts Center. Previously Senior Business Program Manager for Commerce Competition, Microsoft.
Joe is a strong listener and creative problem solver. He can work both up and down the management chain successfully.
