Martin Konrad
We worked together  •  Founder, Previously Director of Technology, Edelman Digital.
I'm a consultant that works primarily with startups, helping them tell compelling stories about their products. Martin was a client of mine. ... Though I don't know that much about him, personally, I will say this: Of the 7-10 startup founders I've worked with in my career, (some of them leading extremely-well-funded SaaS businesses), Martin understood the nature of the problems in his target market better than any of them. Honestly, I'm somewhat amazed at how few founders I've met really understand how to articulate the problem they solve, and why their solution solves it. But, hey, this gap keeps me in business. So: Martin certainly has the domain expertise to make Shortlist a success. I can't speak to his product or sales chops, as the product was still pre-launch when I was helping him, and he didn't yet have any paying customers. But the early version looked promising, and I think the problem he's uncovered is big, the market is big, and his approach to a solution is smart. Hope that helps.
