Key Accomplishments

I’m currently the Managing Director for Eastern US and EMEA for Revinate where I manage our sales force of reps in NYC, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Cape Town. We provide a software service that enables hotels to monitor and engage with their guests online. I started 5 years ago at Revinate as the only sales rep reporting to the founding team and I’ve grown the business to over 25,000 hotel clients and $30m in funding.

Having always been a remote employee (I live in Amsterdam and the company is HQed in San Fran) I’ve had to be extremely self reliant. I’ve hired, trained and managed on my own and in doing so I’ve ultimately built my own sales business, which drives over half of the company’s revenue. This has given me the confidence that I can build a team as well as a business and as an entrepreneur this experience has been both rewarding and empowering.

For the past 11 years I’ve worked in both large tech and finance companies as well as tiny startups. I’ve had to do my own prospecting/cold calling as well as selling and client management. When I joined Revinate I was able to use this experience to turbocharge our business selling a brand new product in an unproven market and driving over $500k of revenue in my first 10 months.

My extreme focus on the process has enabled me to hire specialized positions to replace myself and scale sales quickly. Having a strong base of knowledge has been critical to knowing who to hire, how to train, the development of a thoughtful management approach/style and often when to fire. Having sold our product myself and done all of the jobs I ask of my sales reps I have the trust of my team and I understand their challenges which helps them learn quickly and has enabled me to grow the top producing reps at Revinate.

I need a badass partner who I can trust 100%. My partner can expect me to be 100% honest and trustworthy. I want to be able to work through disagreements quickly with an eye on ensuring we are focused on only hiring teammates who share these traits.
