He has served as founding CEO for three VC-backed fast growth health-related product companies: HT Medical Systems, Interactions Labs, and Brain Sentry. At HT Medical he led the Company through a $42 million merger with Immersion Corp (NASDAQ: IMMR). Mr. Merril has been recognized as a 2013 TEDMED Innovation Scholar for work on head impact sensors. He is a regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
