You Should Know About Me

Key Accomplishments

Before attending Harvard Business School, Sid was an early employee at ZocDoc, where he led Sales Operations and Strategy. At ZocDoc, Sid helped manage all aspects of the sales organization as it grew to 70 people and managed the company’s launches into seven new markets. He also managed product development for the physician signup functionality on ZocDoc's website and worked closely with other functional areas such as engineering, marketing, and customer service as the company scaled to nearly 200 employees. Prior to ZocDoc, Sid was the Associate on the venture investment team at Highland Capital Partners, where he focused on IT and healthcare investments. In addition to his investment responsibilities, he helped coordinate the firm’s successful $400M fundraising effort for its eighth fund. Before Highland, Sid worked as a management consultant at The Parthenon Group after graduating from Duke University with a degree in biomedical engineering. He spent last summer working on new business initiatives for TaskRabbit, is an investor and advisor to Procured Health, and spent the last few months developing a mobile application addressing the problem of medication nonadherence.

How I like to work with people As a Cofounder

I have a generalist business background with experience in startup product, sales, and operations, fundraising experience in venture capital, and a technical thought process from engineering undergraduate. I believe that I would bring a customer-focused product and sales mindset to a technical founder or team to help find product-market fit and grow the user base.

Sid is always willing to challenge the status quo and see things from a different angle. He's incredibly smart and creative, and he seeming ... ly makes it look easy to be managing/juggling countless different things at the same time. He's absolutely up for any challenge and would be able to plug into any team in a very collaborative way.
