Key Accomplishments

Early in my career I was an electrical engineer building high end computer graphics workstations. After getting my MBA, I was a management consultant for a strategy consulting firm. Being passionate about technology, I left management consulting and helped Apple launch two new businesses. I then co-founded a startup with the help of Apple. That startup was acquired by AOL, where I stayed on to run product management for eCommerce. I left to start another company (RedEnvelope) where I was CEO, and raised $25MM. That company eventually went public. I've worked at a few other startups, including a gig as VP of Product for Porch. I also worked at Amazon.com for 6 years and started and ran their digital music business. I am passionate about creating great products and working for fast growing businesses with high integrity. While I think about the next career move, I do product management consulting, fundraising consulting, and mentor at Techstars, 9Mile Labs, and Galvanize.

How I like to work with people As a Cofounder

I like to pair up with a strong technologist who is a great problem solver and executer. I like to follow the Lean Startup principals and test customer demand early and often.
