Key Accomplishments

I have always been interested in looking at engineering holistically. This is why I did a combined degree at Pitzer College and Columbia University. This was a six year degree where I did liberal arts and the prerequisites for engineering at Pitzer and then moved to Columbia to do finish my study in Electrical Engineering. I always have been interested in see how engineering resides within its context. This view continues in my professional work where I goal is to generate a complete view of the products I am helping create. In addition to engineering I have always loved teaching. I help organize Make:SF, where Ronethea came and spoke at, and I have created five classes for Workshop Weekend. I love figure out the clearest way to describe complex concepts so anybody can understand them. Right now I am currently working on a curriculum to train recent engineering graduates to give them the skills they need to be effective engineers. I see this training as filling a gap that currently exists between what colleges provide and what companies need. This project is why I want to join FounderDating.
