Tim is a seasoned finance executive that draws on over 20 years of finance experience as a CFO, equity research analyst, investment banker, and advisor to early stage technology companies. Prior to advising startups, Tim worked on Wall Street as an equity research analyst and investment banker, where he covered consumer electronics, the PC vertical channel, and the interactive entertainment software sector.

Before launching Momentum Partners, Tim worked with 50+ startup and public company clients over the last 16 years where he has helped his clients raise more than $100 million in funding from Angel and Institutional Investors. He has executed numerous equity capital raises including Seed & Series A rounds, IPOs and PIPEs. Tim was previously a Vice President with Morgan Keegan & Company, a subsidiary of Regions Financial, leading the firm’s Consumer Technology practice. He started his career on Wall Street with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter.

Tim earned a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Tim lives in San Francisco and is an avid sailor and snow skier. When not working with early stage companies, he is creating interactive art pieces using steel, LED lighting and LPG hot air balloon burners. Tim is also a co-chair of SVForum 3D Printing SIG.
