You Should Know About Me

Key Accomplishments

Suzie Woodward Morris analyzed the various “looks” of the clothes people wear, catalogued the emotional responses evoked by these “looks”, and for the first time, defined three 5-year, highly predictable fashion “cycles” in her teens. Later, empowered by these insights, Morris opened a consulting firm, Images by Suzie, at the Stanford Barn in Palo Alto, California (1974). Among her first clients were Bank of America, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Marin General Hospital, Junior League of Palo Alto and Stanford University.
Morris has 39 years of experience in her industry. She is the author of “Are You A Closet Junkee?” and “Wardrobe Strategies”. “Wardrobe Strategies” describes her discovery of the evolutionary sequence through which the three 5-year wardrobe cycles progress. This discovery enables a strategy by which a person’s wardrobe can be arranged to achieve specific outcomes.
Morris’ colleagues have repeatedly recognized her for her achievements as a leading innovator in the field of Image/Perception. A pioneer and authority on the psychology of image, Morris was invited to be one of the five founders of the Association of Image Consultants (AIC - now AICI). Morris is a past president of the Image Industry Council International (IICI) and was awarded its highest honor: Image Consultant of the Year.
She consults for Fortune 500 companies, Attorneys, Banks, Design, High Tech, Physicians, Start-Ups, Retail, Real Estate companies, and Universities as well as men and women in various stages of their career and personal development.
A dynamic speaker, Morris presents her insights and innovations on “Image”, “Perception” and “Personal Branding” in Spotlight on Image forums nationwide. In these forums, Morris creates strategies that enable individuals to succeed professionally, personally and socially.
Morris’ clients include: Air Force Academy Generals, Attorneys, Authors, Judges, Presenters, Executives of Apple Computers, Inc., AMD (Advanced Micro Devices); Autodesk, Inc., Bank of America, Barclay Bank (Men/Women of Wealth), Cisco Systems, Inc., Dell, inc., Developmental School for Youth Interns (Allstars), Disney, E-Loan, Google, Hewlett-Packard, Hilton Hotels, Infoblox, Lockheed, NASA Quest, Salvation Army, SKYPE, TechSoup, Wells Fargo Bank; Yahoo; City of Hope Physicians, Physicians/Professionals of Loma Linda Foods, Marin General Hospital, Presbyterian Hospital, Physicians, Professors, and students of Stanford University, UCSF, Univ. of Texas; Attorneys, Baker & McKenzie Law Firm, CA PUC Commission Judge, Expert Witness: Public Defender of San Francisco: (Designer Handbags); Realtors: Chase International, The Grubb Company, Paragon Real Estate; Directors and Consultants of Amway, Color Me Beautiful, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Junior Leagues (nationwide), Texas Symphony Leagues, Fashion Designers: Colleen Quen (SF), Lily Samii, Zac Posen (NY).
