- 1st in Business Administration from a top 3 business course at undergraduate level with the class prize.
- Worked for a strategy consultancy for 8 months and declined a full time role to pursue entrepreneurial avenues.
- My first stab at a proper business was DeskButler, a copycat of SeamlessWeb's online food ordering business (at the time the 4th fastest growing privately held company in America).
- DeskButler was swallowed by SeamlessWeb.
- I became Vice President of SeamlessWeb growing their largest market outside of manhattan from scratch.
- I witnessed SeamlessWeb's acquisition by ARAMARK ($13b Fortune 500 company).
- The UK business I established grew quickly to £10m turnover with almost a £1m EBIT.
- I was offered the role to manage the entire B2B section of Seamless's $200m+ book of corporate business.
- Instead I decided to leave Seamless after 7 years having assisted in the growth from a c$29m - c$700m organisation to pursue entrepreneurial pursuits once again.
- Just after I left Seamless and GrubHub merged before going public at a $3b market cap.
- Recently I took time out to assist with a family illness.
- I advise various investors and tech starts up specifically interested in online food ordering.
- I have extensive knowledge in the online food order industry and more broadly in the local space with a track record in successful enterprise sales (I signed most major Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Private Equity firms etc for Seamless in London).
- I have raised money and am now launching a business of my own to leverage my experience and skill set.

Firstly an advisor should not be a 'yes man' unless you have the perfect idea, business and execution. If you have this you probably don't need an advisor. An advisor should challenge your core strategy, operations and execution. These are the 3 building blocks to any successful business. The last of the three is so often overlooked. Most of the biggest and best businesses you can name have competition, perhaps even a similar strategy to their competitors but their execution sets them apart. An advisor should offer insights into additional ways to improve a business and ideally a network of connections to accelerate growth.
