Think Usha is awesome?
Vouch for them.

Jasmine Rajbhandary
They're my school  •  Senior Social Protection Specialist, World Bank Group. Previously Social Development Advisor, Department for International Development.
Usha would be a fantastic advisor, as she has a huge range of work experiences in both developing countries and the US in the private sector ... as well as nonprofit sector. Actually, it is less her experiences and more her interest and ability to think through, analyze and talk about her experiences in a open manner that make her unique. Usha and I went to the same Grad School, and to me she stood out as being innovative. I was in awe when I found out she had been a Radio Jockey many many years ago. She seemed to be straddling and balancing development and ICT so well. I think even today she is still managing to do that. Usha would be a great advisor, as she is able to take her own experiences and translate them into different contexts. She listens, questions and pushes people to think.

We worked together  •  Advisory Board Member, Appropriate IT Development Academy.
Usha is the best advisor and leader we have had in the field of ICT4D, mobile tech, and social entrepreneurship. Her passion for social impa ... ct + social enterprise, combined with her knowledge in tech/ICT, and her responsiveness and desire to help all who seek her out are unmatched. If you need a great advisor, go no farther. You have found her!
Colby Pacheco
We worked together  •  Program Officer, IREX. Previously Program Officer, Partnership for Transparency Fund.
I had the pleasure of working with Usha on the creation of a citizen engagement platform that let citizens in rural Uganda report deficienci ... es at community health clinics such as medicine stock outs, bribe solicitation, absentee clinic staff, etc. Usha provided all of the technological expertise in the design of the platform and helped shape the thinking about connecting feedback loops between citizens and local government duty-bearers. At the time our anti-corruption NGO was not thinking in these terms and Usha's advising was crucial for our very set-in-their-way senior advisers to rethink how we envision the future of our work. It was a pleasure to work with Usha, especially travelling around rural Northern Uganda and meeting with stakeholders. Usha brings couples deep ICT and ICT4D understanding with a very human touch. I highly recommend her for any strategic advisory position.
