You Should Know About Me

Key Strengths

Key Accomplishments

I’m an e-commerce product person – not just in job title, but to my core. It is what I live and breathe, what excites me and what gets me up in the morning.

In my experiences from startups to large corporate environments, I’ve worked on 10 shopping products – big and small – across devices (mobile, tablet, desktop) and parts of the shopping funnel (discovery/inspiration, search/research, purchase). I love to reject all preconceptions about what shopping is and come up with crazy ideas for what the future of e-commerce could be.

At Google, I worked as a Product Manager on experimental shopping products, like, Google Catalogs and Google Shopping Express. Before Google, at (a startup acquired by Google) I worked on products to help shoppers connect to style experts to get advice about purchasing decisions. And prior to that I worked at a startup that developed technology to allow customized clothing (both in terms of style and fit) to be made in mass production – a technology that served as the backbone of custom clothing programs for several major US retailers as well as a custom clothing brand. Accordingly, I’ve spent (and continue to spend) a great deal of time thinking about how technology can make commerce, both online and offline, better.

I am definitely a start-up person at heart, which might explain my fearlessness when it comes to getting my hands dirty. Over the years, I have worn all sorts of hats including marketing/PR, UI/UX, operations, QA and even customer service. It has made me keenly aware of the value in being fluent in all the languages of business, perhaps the most important ingredient to building a successful team and product.

How I like to work with people As a Cofounder

I value trust and honesty. I really appreciate when people can be both detail oriented and big picture. I like to work with people who are passionate, genuine and bright.

Oh, and I can admit when I'm wrong or when I don't know something – and I hope you can, too!
