John Chalverus
Digital Marketing Manager, SolutionsIQ. Previously Inbound Marketing & Video Content Strategist, Connection Model, LLC.
I first met Hakon when he founded a local entrepreneurship group a few years ago. Since then, I've seen Hakon become a true leader in the en ... trepreneurship community of Seattle. He is a staple at local startup events and continues to help others. Hakon can also be seen leading Startup Weekends where he mentors and guides with a strength in customer development.
John Sechrest
Founder, Seattle Angel Conference and Co-organizer, Lean Startup Seattle.
Hakon has been very active in the Seattle Startup scene, connecting to Startup weekends, working at Madrona and attending many of the event ... s along the way. He has good connections across the ecosystem and is getting a lot of experience with the startup funding process at Madrona
Bharathi Masilamani

I have interacted with Hakon a few times and has connected with him in a few hackathons. Hakon comes across as a sincere entrepreneur with g ... reat heart and intentions to sit down and do the best thing for the startup the right way.
Avilay Parekh
We worked together  •  Founder, AvilayLabs LLC. Previously Founder, CTO, Carnegie Mellon grad.
Yes, he would be a great advisor. He is great at community building and as such has built a good and diverse network. If there is something ... he cannot help with directly he is very happy to introduce people from his network who can.

Adriana Moscatelli
We worked together
Adriana is the real deal. Where most people talk about wanting to start a company, she has actually taken the steps to do it. She's open to ... feedback and takes it to heart. I've had the pleasure of knowing her for a while and seeing her make good progress on her ideas with the sensibility to evolve an idea when it doesn't work for some reason.

Nandesh Guru
They're my friends
Nandesh is 100% committed to becoming an entrepreneur. He's giving up good, interesting work at a big company where he has a very large comp ... ensation package to pursue this. He has a strong technical background and is both thoughtful and eager. He has a lot of learning to do, but he'll be a great technical addition to a co-founding team.

George Huang
We worked together at Madrona Venture Group  •  Associate, Madrona Venture Group. Previously Investment Banking Analyst, Morgan Stanley. Wharton grad.
George knows a lot about market analysis and business models. He also works extensively with the MDs at Madrona and has deep insight into ve ... nture capital.

Brian Hur
They're my friends
Brian has a lot of learning to do on the path of entrepreneurship, but he's already investing heavily. He comes from a unique background, wh ... ich is veterinary medicine. I like when people bring experiences and expertise that's different from the norm to entrepreneurship. There was a time when he programmed, but that was long ago. He's started re-learning and he's putting the time in specifically because he wants to be a versatile entrepreneur. We worked on a Startup Weekend project together, and after the event wrapped up, he came back about two weeks later with 2 recurring $100/mo sales. I was surprised and impressed.

William Sheng
They're my friends
Billy co-founded this company while in school. Upon graduating, he decided to forgo pursuing big company money and perks to pursue this star ... tup business further. He further went out and found a way to raise a seed round despite the hurdles of being a first-time entrepreneur, etc.

John Chalverus
They're my friends  •  Digital Marketing Manager, SolutionsIQ. Previously Inbound Marketing & Video Content Strategist, Connection Model, LLC.
I've gotten to know John over the past two years after first meeting him when we took the same online course in entrepreneurship. He consist ... ently puts effort into expanding his knowledge and stretching himself. I'm not sure when he'll be ready to be an entrepreneur, but when he is, he'll get things done and will know where to get help when he's blocked.

Himanshu Tayal
They're my friends  •  Senior Product Manager, Amazon. Previously Investment Banking Associate, Scotiabank.
Where most part-time entrepreneurs lose interest or give up on side projects within a few weeks or months of starting, Himanshu has remained ... dedicated to his side project and has responded to customer feedback and market research by adjusting the business model and vision.

Diego Oppenheimer
They're my investor  •  CEO and Founder, Algorithmia Inc. Previously Program Manager - Data Experiences, Microsoft. Carnegie Mellon grad. Carnegie Mellon grad.
I had a chance to meet Diego after he and his co-founder had built a prototype of Algorithmia. Every conversation has left me impressed with ... his knowledge and drive. He and his co-founder have a lot of expertise in the space they're in and are working on what could become a game-changing product that solves a real problem. The VC firm I work for eventually ended up investing in Algorithmia (it would probably be more accurate to say that we invested in Diego and Kenny). Diego continues to impress us and make good progress.
