Key Accomplishments

I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. I have experience in the design and manufacturing of digital electronics, analog circuits, cable harnesses and chassis wiring schemes. He has worked at SPAR Aerospace (now MDA), a major contractor to both NASA and the Canadian Space Agency. Most notably, I have worked on the CanadaArm project in 2004 as a member of the team which designed the inspection system for the Space Shuttle. In addition to aerospace projects, I have designed medical devices, most notably the surgical robotic system called NeuroArm at the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary, Alberta. I also worked on various contracts for Ontario Power Generation, notably the team that designed a robotic inspection system for radioactive reactor vaults. Most of my design experience has been done to NASA, military, medical and industrial specifications. however I am now transitioning to commercial designs.

How I like to work with people As a Cofounder

I bring the detailed oriented thinking and engineering experience it takes to actually make an idea come to life in a proof of concept or prototype. Many people have ideas that are amazing but just don't have the nuts and bolts skills to demonstrate it. That's where I can add great value to a team, in addition to the creative problem solving that all passionate entrepreneurs share.

What's great about my background, is that I have had experience in many different design areas such as optical, digital, analog, signal conditioning, sensor design, A/V design, IT/network design on addition to the various programming languages and environments I am proficient in. I'm not a 'software guy' per se, but I can hold my own in a programming task it's just not my strongest area is all. I feel that I really bring a great all around suite of practical engineering experience that can help realize a minimum viable product without too much waste. I am a passionate problem solver that strives to deliver value to emerging market areas.

David is extremely smart and a very nice person to work with. He's super knowledgeable on the topic of NFC and knows how to run a business. ... He'd be a tech-savvy and business smart advisor to any startup dealing with NFC.

Natasha Baker
They're my friends
Natasha has chosen to tackle a huge problem with her platform SnapEDA. Most people would shy away from such a large problem and try to solv ... e only a small part of it as some of her competitors have done. Natasha sees a much bigger picture that involves a much more advanced and through solution. Her drive and passion for it are what drives her, and her ability to learn new skills on the fly to execute her plan continues to impress me. She has learned Python, web development, database design and so much more to help get this off the ground. Most people would never even try to learn these things but rather rely on others.

Pouneh Rouhani
They're my school  •  Co-Founder & Strategy Director, RadRou and Event Planner, DishCourse, Ad Lounge.
Pouneh is very savvy when it comes to how to get things done in a lean and effective way. Pouneh is always up on the latest trends in the m ... arket place and how to market using the latest tools. When she's passionate about something she'll always go many extra miles to see it through to success!

Ray Wilczynski
They're my advisor  •  Senior Partner, Stratcom LLC. Previously Sr. Product Manager, SunGard Availability Services.
I met ray in Dallas and we chatted a lot about a great business concept that we're all still hoping to get off the ground. Ray showed a gre ... at understanding of all aspects of the challenge and I immediately felt his value on the team.
