Key Accomplishments

Most recently, I was at Whaleshark Media, where I was one of the first 40 employees and helped take the company to 250+ employees and $120MM in revenue through my role as the lead product manager for the marketing team. I worked directly with the directors of the following groups: brand management, CRM, public relations, SEM and SEO.

In addition to leading product intiatives for the marketing group, I also managed’s consumer account products where I lead a 10-person team of visual designers, software engineers, UI engineers, QA engineers and UX designers. One of my many accomplishments was increasing the registered user base, accumulated over two years, from 65,000 users to 425,000 users in three quarters.

I recently left WhaleShark Media to pursue earlier stage opportunities, with the goal of launching a new company. I am currently working as a consultant to a couple of early stage companies here in Austin, while I try to find the right idea, partner or company.

I've worked for a variety of different companies in a number of positions and been a consultant, unpaid intern, full-time employee and everything in between. I left WhaleShark to focus full time on my goal of building and launching a company and I can't wait to get started.

How I like to work with people As a Cofounder

I have experience in product, marketing and business development and enjoy wearing multiple hats. I've experienced success in all three roles and am willing to take on all of these roles and more as needed, because when you're trying to launch a company there isn't time to pigeonhole yourself to one role.

I've worked for big companies (IBM) and with small companies (just a founder). I know that I thrive in a dynamic environment where the roadmap is subject to change at any given time.

I'm a hard worker and am not afraid to put in the time and effort to succeed. I was often the last person to leave WhaleShark and on occasion, was even one of the first ones in (more often the former though).

I love solving big problems, brainstorming good solutions and not knowing what challenges I'll face tomorrow.

I dig data, A/B testing, failing fast and iterating just as quickly.

I have a strong network in Austin and have connections at Austin Ventures, S3 Ventures, Central Texas Angel Network, Texas Venture Labs, Austin Technology Incubator and many more.

I'm hands on and enjoy getting in the weeds to make sure everything is right.

I'm smart, creative and above all I'm hungry and know I want to create something from scratch or as close to scratch as possible.
