Trevor Goss
We worked together  •  Co-founder/CEO, Varsidee. Previously Chief Marketing Officer, Medable, Inc. Cornell grad.
Jim helped me and our team in immeasurable ways. As a former CEO, he has deep knowledge about a variety of issues that startups (and larger ... companies) encounter, particularly around strategy, business planning and sales. One of the things that helped our team the most was his ability to help everyone hone in on a single idea, consider it from multiple angles, make a plan of action and execute against what was planned. This sounds simple, but as anyone who has run a startup knows, you're often besieged by "good ideas." The trick is figuring out which of these good ideas to spend your scarce time on. Jim is able to nurture, prod and guide startup founders along as they navigate through those ideas, and eventually decide on a course of action. At the end, you as the entrepreneur will feel like you arrived at the right decision on your own. But you never would have gotten there without Jim's help.
Tom McWilliams
