Key Accomplishments

I have educated over 100 entrepreneurs from startups to growth stage business. Including Seventh Generation, Community Source Capital, EVRNU, and larger organizations like Google Food Lab. I helped grow businesses like Intel, even startups inside large organizations like Colgate and P&G. I work with due diligence on both sides of a sale, mergers and IPOs. Build and evolve business models, understand customer niches and product development that matches differentiated customers.

I am particularly experienced at integrating innovation, growth and responsibility as self-re-enforcing.

I also build self-directed management systems and have build them for almost forty years. I have two books, and soon three, with case stories of such businesses who grow from 40-65% per annum. They are great places to work and stars of responsible practice, with out separate programs driving caring.

I founded and run a radically different Center at the University of Washington, Bothell for business unit leaders ready to grow the business, and founders who need help, either for themselves or for transition leaders, in how to grow the businesses and raise the next round of capital, and the next. You can learn more of my "developmental approach" to change by engaging with my books, blogs and Video.

BJ Duft

Carol's approach to effecting change within an organization is like no other I have experienced in my 17 years of owning/running my own busi ... ness. She brings a level of mental stimulation to her teaching/coaching methods that sticks with you. Assimilating the theories into "real world" practice is a skill that Carol has that I have not found at the many (many) business development seminars/classes/workshops that i have attended over the years. Carol's direct approach is refreshing and stimulating and requires you really engage at a level not often seen in a management setting.
