I am a Professor of Computer Science, an ACM Distinguished Scientist, and an IEEE Senior Member. I've taught and researched in Computer Scie ... nce for 30 years now, having graduated 17 PhD students. Richard is one of the wisest of individuals I had the privilege to be an academic colleague of, over three decades. His deep mathematical training, his pioneering contributions to science and engineering, and his extraordinary administrative and organizational skills catapulted our Computer Science Department to its current position, as well as the fame of Utah's Computer Aided Geometric Design (CAGD) group to its world-renowned position. He was a true pioneer in having seen the importance of CAGD 30 years ago, and (with Prof. Cohen) founded the Alpha_1 group that was a trend-setter for all similar activities that followed. Other entrepreneurs in FounderDating would be priviliged to have Rich's contact - so please enroll him in this select group.
