Yelitsa is a great entrepreneur because of her drive to make a passionate impact. I've had the pleasure of watching how she has transformed ... Healthy Roots from an idea to a successful startup in less than a year. Her startup, Healthy Roots, seeks to empower young girls of color to embrace their natural beauty by providing dolls and storybook characters with diverse skin tones and hair textures. Yelitsa is deeply passionate about what she does, and is tenacious about doing whatever she needs to do to put share her products with the world. Her work has inspired thousands of fans and has made her a finalist in MassChallenge and a Brown Social Innovation Fellow. She's a super talented illustrator and designer, a social media genius, a powerful public speaker, and a persistent problem solver.
