Ced Simpson has over twenty years of successful International business development, channel development, sales, marketing, and product management experience. For the past nineteen years, Ced has worked exclusively in the digital space with expertise in local search marketing (including PPC advertising, mobile, social, listings and presence management, and SEO), website hosting and development, eCommerce, SaaS solutions, and other forms of performance-based advertising. During that time Ced has worked almost exclusively in start-up organizations.

Currently, Ced is the Vice President of Global Business Development at MatchCraft LLC, a leading local search engine marketing company based in Santa Monica that is managing over 60,000 SEM campaigns in 30 markets and in 18 languages around the world. Since 2008, MatchCraft has signed deals with 25 Google Premier SMB Partners around the world (more than any competing SEM provider) and firmly established the company as the leader in this space.

Ced left MatchCraft for a short period from July 2013 until March 2014 to assume the position of Vice President of International Sales and serve as an Advisor to SIM Partners (an enterprise local search platform that recently received 2 Local Visionary Awards from StreetFight Magazine). At SIM, Ced launched the company's first global reseller program with partners supporting Europe and Australia and partnered with the company's direct sales team to close the company's first International client, the Netherlands-based division of one of the company’s largest global clients (which included a plan to roll services out across multiple European markets upon completion of a successful trial program). Ced returned to MatchCraft in March of 2014 as a part of its acquisition by Advance Digital.

As Director of Business Development at LocalLaunch (a local search engine marketing company acquired by Dex Media in 2006), Ced built a strong network of reseller partners and increased sales at the national level by developing partnership relationships with 7 of the 10 leading directional marketing agencies in the certified marketing representative space (CMR’s). He was with the company for two years.

In addition to Ced’s sales and marketing talents, he is well versed on the technical side of online advertising, website solutions, website hosting, and e-commerce with experience garnered as Director of Product management at Web.com, one of the world’s largest website hosting companies.

Ced was also a co-founder and Vice President of Sales & Marketing of Atlanta-based Cignant, an e-commerce platform focused exclusively on the gift and home furnishings industries. Ced also held multiple executive roles at Impressa (Vice President of Product Marketing and Vice President of Strategic Services) and has served as a Digital Strategist and Internet Marketing Consultant both independently and for organizations like eKetchum, an Omnicom company.

Ced earned a Master of Business Administration degree at The George Washington University and an undergraduate degree at Clemson University.
