Co-working in Menlo Park?

Hey everyone - I was wondering if there were cool co-working spaces in
Menlo people can recommend. I really like Hacker Dojo in M View, and was
wondering if there's something similar in Menlo. Looking for a crowd of
techno-creatives/founders to hang out with once in a while.

Thanks...

While we're on the subject, would love recommendations for SF as well.
There seem to be dozens of them around the city, but wondering whether
anyone has specific ones with a strong community and inspiring people.
Located in SOMA would be a plus!

And in DC while you're at it. I know of a few cool ones, but pricey!

Cheers,
Keisha

I'm working at The Hatchery on 2nd St.  Definitely not a strong community, but it's nice and close to Caltrain and Muni.  They have a location on Harrison St. which may be better because it's wide open, but I doubt it.  Seems like more of a real-estate mindset than a startup mindset.

Keisha, I recommend checking out DC Nightowls (http://nightowls.dcacm.org/).
You'll get some exposure to local coworking spaces and a great in-person
community.  A few names of coworking spaces are: Dupont Circle Business
Incubator, Canvas.co, UberOffices, PunchRock (new), Work District (new),
and the old mainstay, Affinity Lab.  There's a few more listed on another
community site: http://foster.ly/guide/post/co-working

Thanks Andrew, I just heard about NightOwls this week, haven't had a chance to check it out yet!

It would be a lot cheaper if you merely purchased a single license for PDEC
and updated gravity with the new number.

Hi All

Rocketspace has a very cool vibe but you must be funded and have less than 30 employees to get in. They call themselves an accelerator to differentiate from an incubator.

Cool place though and super connecting to the eco-system in the valley and beyond.

Good luck to you all

Adam

I'm currently working out of NextSpace in SF, which I enjoy. Aside
from having a strong community and inspiring people, and being located
in SOMA, they also get all of the details right (comfortable seats,
plentiful outlets, fast wifi, plentiful ethernet ports, tall table
that can be used as a standing desk, nice atmosphere, etc.). It's a
great place to work.

Regards,
Bryan

Definite +1 to NightOwls in DC--probably the most intelligent, ambitious,
and helpful community I've come across in the city. Missing those weekly
meetups in SF.
