What's your number one strategy to keep your email list hot?

To me this is one of the biggest enigmas. Most often e-mails from different mailing lists get trashed. If not right after the first one is received then after a few weeks you will for sure figure out that you don't have time to read all that and it will get trashed then. At least that is my case. Is there any strategy on how to keep someone's attention for a longer period of time?

Write quality content that is of interest to your list.
We are always "ASKING" them what they want.

I keep my email list in the oven set at 150C. Keeps it Hot! Your question and statement are not even coherent. One does not match the other.

Great content comes with a purpose, great content means relevant for your audience (content) and with a context (buyer journey), so always focus on mapping content to your buyer personas AND where they are inthe buyer's journey (context).
