Do I need permission to post the projects to my website as portfolios that I got from an agency?

A website design agency in the UK hired me before to do the functional part of their projects, technically we call it the back-end programming from installing the CMS, form submission, anything that makes the website functioning. Basically they do the design and send it to me to do the programming. Now I have established my own website design agency in the Philippines and no longer connected to the agency in the UK, do I need to ask permission first to post the projects I worked from them to my website as my portfolios even though I specifically mentioned just my participation to the projects?

Did you sign an NDA or a Contract?
If yes, did the NDA have terms where you cannot publish works done under the Contract?

If both are NO- you can publish the Projects under your Portfolio.
If the answer is YES to above, you need to take their permission before publishing.

If you need, I can help you understand your contract and explain the terms if you send me the contract/NDA copy.

Hi Himanshu, we didn't sign an NDA or any contract, They simply ask me if I am available to do jobs, sent the requirements, did my job and get paid.

Julius, Than you are free to use the work in your Portfolio, as there are no binding terms. Best of Luck!
