Where should entrepreneurs start when taking the leap of faith?

We've all been there and we've all done it. However, if you had to go back in time where would you really start to come out of the gate with a solid foundation?

Test your market. An idea you like and understand needs external validation. Remember you don't have to be first to succeed but you always need a market. Talk to people who you need what you offer, even better show them a paper prototype. Watch and listen to what they say, do and feel.. Be sure to understand why they think or react ...don't assume anything. Use the feedback to refine and test again and again until you have a grounded confidence at a level that minimizes your risk. ... Say 3/4 favor and would buy
