Where should I incorporate my business?

Wondering if I should incorporate my business on the region where I live or if I should just go with Delaware. I am looking to build a high growth business that will require significant outside investment.

It is a cost/benefit analysis.

There are many reasons why more companies are incorporated in Delaware than any other state. This article highlights a few of the reasons whyhalf a million businesses, including more than half of all U.S. publicly-traded companies and 60% ofFortune 500 companies, haveincorporated in Delaware.

The article also outlines the biggestdrawbacks to incorporating in Delaware and explains why it is not a one-size-fits-all solution.

Given your description, incorporating as a C-Corp in Delaware is the only reasonable option.
