Has anyone used HubSpot for inbound marketing and sales?

Currently giving HubSpot a test run. It seams interesting to have everything in one place as opposed to having to use multiple products. As a first impression it doesn't seam to be a good product to track metrics like Kissmetrics or Mixpanel. The event tracking is actually pretty bad. The latter are much more powerful and useful for understanding user retention and behaviors. So far the experience has been good with email marketing and landing pages. What are your thoughts and what has been your experience using them?

We use it and like it alot. You do need to pay extra for the reporting tool. About $100/month but well worth it. Our total price just doubled so that was a bummer but overall we are very happy.

There is a way for you to better track events and metrics around customer behavior using offline campaigns. Though not a robust as the tools you mention there are some customizations you can make to fields and reporting to get a bit close to what you are looking for.

The key question is what behaviours do you what to track that will make a difference in lead qualification and creating a reason to call for sales? You could set up notifications to do this.

We've used hubspot for the past 4 years and I personally have had multiple successes: First, the Alaska Sleep Clinic is now considered to be the most trafficked independent sleep center website in the world by leveraging the "they ask, we answer" philosophy we were able to grow traffic from 2k visitors per month to just under 300k visitors per month. I enjoyed the growth and eventually sold the Alaska Sleep Clinic in 2015 and started my own inbound agency inboundMed. Second, the American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST) had so much success that we had a feature spotlight in HubSpot...you can read it here: http://www.hubspot.com/customers/american-association-of-sleep-technologists Lastly, we have numerous other clients with similar stories! I can't say enough about their platform and support! Our marketing team loves it for overall marketing automation, but we still use GA to track our metrics. The CRM/Sales module is good for tracking activity and follow ups, but doesn't handle pipeline tracking & forecasting very well if you have multiple lines of business.

We used the Enterprise level for 2 years and realized we didn't need that so dropped to the basic but it just depends on your needs and overall objectives. There are other tools and ways to achieve the same for less.

We've used it for the past 3 years and have found it very helpful in cultivating and following up with leads and measuring the impact of our digital & inbound marketing. It integrates well with other Sales CRM systems, too, like Salesforce and Sugar.

Thank you all so much for your thoughtful responses. So far it has been a pleasant experience using HubSpot, but will keep your guidance in mind moving forward.
