What should I wear to an investor meeting?

I am going to visit some VCs in NYC. I wonder what would be a proper attire to meet with these folks at their office.

Business casual. Most importantly, though, dress to feel comfortable. If you feel tense and stuffy, your pitch will suffer.

When in doubt, business casual.

Depends on where you are pitching and who you are pitching to. While it of course always best advice to be yourself, don't disrespect the people you are pitching too. If you are not sure, ask someone who knows them, what their dress code is - you can even ring their receptionist if they have one. NYC is more formal the West Coast but VCs tend to be more relaxed than PEs in my experience.
