What is the best channel to find clients for our mobile development startup ?

We are a India based startup and looking forward to build a client base who are looking for mobile app development for B2B or B2C. Can anyone suggest what is the best channel to find clients/leads ?

If you're eyeing the U.S. market you need to find a representative in the U.S. who will run the sales for you. Selling here is very different than in Europe.

Do you have any kind of portfolio to show? As a new company you need a few good case studies or things will be very difficult for you.

Good Luck!

There are thousands upon thousands of app developers who independently advertise on developer gig sites. Identifying your market and how to approach them typically comes before launching a company. This will include the description of your ideal customer and budget for how many customers at the price level you're targeting you will need to acquire, retain, or replace, over what period of time. FD may not be the right place to do this basic research. Pretend you are one of your ideal customers and make an attempt to buy the service you plan to provide to others. Document your experiences and then compare what you plan to offer to what you were able to find from many competitors.

@Krishan KumarYou need to try different channels to find perspective clients for your business in the U.S.
1. Cold calling
2. Email marketing
3. Participating in local events, trade shows
4. Becoming member of special interest business groups
5. Social Media Marketing specific to targeted region

There is no guarantee that you will get clients through a fixed approach, you need to try and gauge what works for you and adjust your efforts accordingly.

You are entering into a very saturated market. But, having said that, there is a different approach that you can take to "disrupt the status quo."

Krishan,
You really need to find a niche - ideally one that is underserved. You need to answer the following:
1. What is it that you are particularly good at and that makes you unique
2. Why can people not get that unique thing elsewhere?
3. What very particular type of customer needs that unique thing?
It may take several iterations to get a clear view, but it will be time well spent as without doing this discovery, I can almost guarantee that your marketing efforts will be wasted.
Good luck with it.
