How to incorporate user feedback on a new platform for micro mentoring? Mobile way or Desktop way?

We would like some guidance on how to incorporateuser feedback on a new platform for micro-mentoring.

KarmaCircles is a mobile app on iPhone and Android as well as a website. We are wondering if we should focus on our mobile apps or our website. Currently, our desktop traffic is significantly more compared to the mobile apps. We believe that in about an year, our mobile traffic will surpass the desktop traffic.

We are a small team and can't do both. I am sure many of you have been in similar situation.Any advice in this regard will be appreciated.

Thanks
Deepak

Hi Deepak,

Interesting decision-making problem to have :)

I am assuming that your current web presence is responsive. If that's the case then its better to sharpen your web presence with all the user feedback gold that you have managed to mine so far. Eventually, all the core offerings of your web app can be rolled onto native apps.

However, If you do not have a kick-ass responsive presence yet, then, I would focus on getting the native app kick-started. Sooner or later, that is going to be the de-facto standard and while you are carving out the app, you can use your web presence to bait and hook more acquisitions and action thereof.

Cheers

Hello Deepak,

I'm quite confused as you seem to be answering yourself on theses sentences you wrote:

The data is telling you where to go, so it's a no brainer. Like Udhaya said, if you use responsive, you should be covered on both fronts. That's the minimum.

Best of lucks!
