Has anyone found that Indeed is very startup unfriendly for finding staff? Alternatives?

Is Indeed starting to become a monopolistic enterprise?

I need to hire up to 100 part-time teachers for on-line, any suggestions?

Ideally people with TESL or TEFL certificates.

Hi Pedro, what kind of teachers? Do you mean actual teachers (board certified) or just SME's?

Yes, Indeed has become extremely money hungry. I am using a new product for my staffing agency. It is called Mighty Recruiter. I love it because it posts on like 30 job boards for free. My jobs are appearing on Monster and LinkedIn. I am not paying for premium postings. This has been saving me a lot of money. I also have a PDF on sourcing training. If you want more details on sourcing, join the sourcing groups on Facebook. I would be glad to help you if you need any details. And No, I won't be selling you anything.Recruiting Daily has some great information. Whatever you do, do not sign up for ZipRecruiter. There is a huge issue with it.

the state of Hawaii has a bunch of teachers retiring this summer - you can likely get some of them.

We've had great experiences with Indeed so far. For startups I would also suggest AngelList, though if you're hiring 100 PT teachers, that probably isn't the place for it. You might take a look around for more niche job boards, especially if you'll be hiring so many employees in a specific area.

Another strategy is to post the job on your own site and promote from there - Indeed is actually hungry for jobs to add to its listings and will list a job without your intervention if you follow the right practices:

I would also try Simply Hired. It's similar to Indeed but is a little more flexible with the types of jobs they post.

Put a national add out in craigslist. or indeed. It all depends on how much leg work you are willing to do. Make sure your dob description is very through and that you want to see there linked in facebook pages to determine a better understanding of professional behaviors

You might try Association for Talent Development (ATD) and the eLearning Guild. If you are willing to consider educators in adult learning that may or may not be certified specifically as TESL/TEFL. Many individuals in the corporate learning space conduct online learning on a daily basis.

MightyWorks looks like a great tool. Unfortunately, they don't service clients in Canada.
