What are the best productivity tools for emails?

Are there any smart & intelligent tools likeCrystalto make emailing more easier & effective, wherein it tells you on what needs to be changed on the body or point out on similar emails similar to the current one exists or even better suggest key phrases as you type like in SwiftKeybased on previous emails.

Crystal suggests corrections based on the recipient in question, but I am looking for a tool that helps boost productivity by reducing the time to compose emails based on the history of your email conversations & chat history.

I use Gmail Lab's "multiple inboxes" to create separate boxes for "waiting for reply" and "action items" emails I want to track. I combine this with color coding for labels to have a nice way to stay organized and be productive. The only negative is you can't combine Gmail's categories with "multiple inboxes" so all your mail gets lumped into one inbox. You have to be really creative with filters. :)

For Apple Mail, I have a friend who uses colors to tag and track her emails and be more productive.
