Do you know funds that invest in consumer products (skin care, etc.)?

I am advising a client in the consumer products space, with product line with 15 SKUs, patent protection and initial traction, and it seems that most of the VC funds are focused on technology, Internet, SaaS, etc.. Any advice who to contact that may invest in consumer products?

You can try Circle Up, they focus on consumer retail companies: http://circleup.com

Circle Up is a great recommendation, but remember that Circle Up is effectively an Angel community and the company should have a clear high-growth path and very obvious traction.

If it is a little earlier than that, a great way to get cashflow is to do crowdfunding like Kickstarter, if the product is compatible with those platforms.

Our group looks for breakthrough technologies. Your products do not fit into this category. We understand consumer goods, but we don't want to use our capital to creat demand through advertising. Our capital is too expensive for that purpose anyway. Maybe a public offering is the better route. Sent from my iPhone
