Pay per call software or a website?

I am creating a website where I can post offers form different companies ( Restaurants, Stores Bakery, Coffee Shops) and the way I would like to monetize it be offering free space for the client and then place tractable phone number where my visitors will call and then been forwarded to the company phones. Is there a software that I can use to create different numbers for different companies and then track how many calls they got from us.

Hi Jivko, If you're set on using a telephony based way for users to contact suppliers about offers, you could easily build something like this with Twilio. It has everything you need, and is surprisingly cost effective. I've used Twilio myself on several applications, and it's a phenomenal platform. http://www.twilio.com Please ask if you have further questions. Lee

I have a fairly complicated but a new spin on your already done idea, Use elastix pbx software on a server with a custom IVR setup for each client with direct sales promotions as they dial in via your sip trunk.

Basically you can list a free call 1800 number on your website that is voip based when the potential client calls the number and punches in the vendor number that you have associated on the site with that bakery the system logs it and forwards them to a quick specials audio advertising then connects the call to the listed vendor, It all sounds complicated but someone experinced in elastix could get it together in a few days...

my 2 cents worth!

Cheers, Andrew

Businesses are composed of pixels, bytes & atoms. All 3 change constantly. I make that change +ve.
What century are you in, Jivko?People don't make calls anymore.

Websites are out of date too.over 50% of web searches on Google, for example, are now from mobile.

This changes the method - people expect the system to take account of their location, their preferences and their friends' suggestions, not just push notifications from vendors eager for business. They expect the app or mobile website to not only show them the options but book them and even take payment, without resorting to phone calls.

Don't do this. It will take a lot of effort and won't get the traction you need to make it work.

Hi Jivko, Maybe we should be in touch? I already have a mobile app for restaurants/food establishments and I'm looking to add that kind of thing to it. Nofyah

Hi,

There are a number of good, easy to use vendors out there these days for call tracking. I've used Telmetrics, and Invoca both have alot of features and make it easy to get phone numbers, track activity and even record incoming calls. Others in this space include Dialogtech, Marchex, Callrail and Callfire.

Sure! There are a lot actually. Here is a link: http://www.callrail.com/ I have also used call centers in the past that were trained to ask questions and give responses specific to the business you want to serve, usually in the languages you need spoken. These are relatively inexpensive and offer the customer a solution to their business so when the phone rings, it is someone who actually wants to buy. That you can track perfectly, so you know how many calls, and also how many sales...
