How to Grow My Graphic T-Shirts Ecommerce Store?

I have an ecommerce store where I sell my graphic t-shirts, but I am not seeing much sales. How should I grow it? Is graphic t-shirts a good product to sell and market, or is there any other product that I should add in my ecommerce store?

Tushar, to my mind it is a very crowded niche, and you should find a really smart way to sell it. But it is a large market, therefore if you make it right you'll be fine. This is in general. To be more specific I need to know more details.

Do you have a business plan Tushar?
Or is this just about making a little extra on the side?

If the latter then what is stopping you from considering all other forms of merchandising product such as cups, memory sticks, sweet bands, etc...

If the former, then perhaps you can first share a bit more information here about what your plans are so that others can input with more targeted advice.

Tushar,
I agree with Anton, it is very niche marketed business. I would like to add timing is equally critical, it is all about fashion and trends.

To vet T-shirt design and target market, sell your shirt at a big event, 3K plus, that attracts your target market. Interact, listen and observe. Profileyour buyers or reason for buying. Example, before conference you were targeting 13-17 year old kids. After conference, you realize, you do better with Male, 16-17, with families making over 50K a year. or Female that are into theater or Male that like body building. etc.

Once you vetted your target market fully, re-align site and marketing strategy. Just as a frame of reference, in the US, unless you selling 144 shirts of the one design within a sales cycle, you don't have profitable design. Good luck,

Hi Tushar-
I would try to take a look to see what the primary problem might be. Are you getting traffic to your store but people aren't converting? If so, it might be the selection, price, UX. If you aren't getting much traffic to the store, I would want to take a look at what kind of marketing that you are doing to drive traffic.

Do you have Google Analytics on your site to see where the source of your traffic is coming from?

Happy to help more...

Hi,

Hyqee.com is my site. I sell on marketplaces to get traffic, and sometimes divert them to my site and brand my tshirts as well. Apart from this I have tried Facebook advertising, as Google is very expensive. I am planning to start a dropship model to increase sales. I have had good success with Etsy, though lately the sales has dropped to zero. Redbubble has been quite generous with sales. My designs even though inspired have attracted copyright issues with Fox Studios themselves sending a notice. So my designs have been noticed, but what should I do to increase my sales. And yes I can increase my print products, from prints, posters, mugs, pillows, totes and snapback hats. But I am not sure if these products will increase sales or bring in repeat customers. Apart from tshirts I have started selling snapback hats as these hats have good demand in the market.

1. How often do you renew your collection? This is crucial for Etsy and such places. You need to constantly offer something new.
2. Try other marketplaces
3. Try Google '1-cent traffic' technique
4. Do you use retargeting on Facebook? If not you definitely should

@Anton Yakovlev

1. One design per week or else when too busy, two designs a month. Mostly designs are quotes, movie inspired and any random design.

2. Can you suggest any other marketplaces? I am from India, and I have actually found success by selling in US markets than in India, though I ship all over the world. I was planning to buy wholesale as well from suppliers and take the Amazon FBA program, good idea?

3. Okay, will try 1-Cent Traffic.

4. I have not, will definitely give it a try.

Hello Tushar,

Its a good thing that you are on something..I think you should give time to grow, another feature which could earn you a plus is maybe if clients could come up with their graphic (design), and you design.

And another thing, you need to consider,fabric...
