Best Sales Productivity Software: Yesware vs. Hubspot?

We have been using Yeswear for a long time and I'd say we're content. Lately I've been hearing great things about Hubspot.. I don't really want to switch systems for a week or two just to test it, so wanted to hear if others have used both and how the two compare and how your team has liked/not liked one or the other.


What I'm concerned with is sales productivity.

I would suggest creating a list of the things you have heard about hubspot that make it interesting. Then see if Yesware can deliver specifically.

I always tell clients to be open with their current vendor. They do not want to lose you anymore than you may hate switching so why not tell them?


Be sure you define your interests based on input, outcome, and specific results desired.

Yes the emotional burden of change is something to be considered but I always suggest looking at the data and weigh that with specific intention as it relates to all other components of the decision.

Not sure that I can really help here, but here's what I have to say. We've been using Hubspot for a while, but for marketing. We had our blog there, we were monitoring social media using it, etc. It is a great all-in-one tool.


I personally use Yesware and I love it! But I use it just to track email openings.

My advice is, test any software you think of buying. It is the best way to know if the software fits your needs. But before looking for one, make a list of features that you think the software has to own to increase sales productivity. What you want to do is find a tool that you can use to its whole potential. It's very bad when you use 2-3 features but pay for 15.

Essentially, both apps provide similar benefits. Really agree with @Richard here- do your due dilligience on Hubspot. But I'm assuming you'll find Hubspot is so similar to Yesware that there isn't a need to switch.

I have extensive experience with both. And I wouldn't label either of them as "productivity" type tools. They're more insight tools than anything else. That said, your concerns might not even be relieved by switching to Hubspot. I'd challenge you to think beyond software here to get to the root of your concerns.

Isn't Yesware just an email marketing analytics tool, whereas Hubspot is email, web, social media, etc. ?

Hubspot is the big daddy in this space. If you can afford it, do it. It is a complete marketing automation platform. It would be complementary to YesWear.

If price is an issue, Ontraport is lower cost and has a lot of the features (as is Act-On).

You might just contact the Hubspot people and get a walk-through demo. It is really an impressive platform.
