What's the best way to programatically payout to bank accounts?

Since Stripe is deprecating it's "transfers" API, we've been left looking for a good alternative to just sending payouts via PayPal. We operate a marketplace with 1099 contractors, but pay out earnings every 3 months. How can we streamline this process?

I run a payroll service that uses an Intuit backend it will not only run the transfers but also issue 1099's.

EARN.org needed an ACH2 payment vendor with an API. We evaluated Forte Payments and FirstACH.

http://www.firstach.com

Both provide an API that works. We ended up using Forte.

You can also sign up on mychoicepreferred.com and pay on a prepaid card. You can also get API access and streamline the process. If you need help feel free to contact me at [removed to protect privacy] ?

Jeremy,

Check out:

Not sure JustWorks.com has an API but I love using them with clients because paying contractors is free. They take no percentage. PayPal is just a huge rip off.

Best,
Aleks

Thanks, all, for sharing your experiences and suggestions.

@Tim ChildHow have you found the Forte API & support so far? We'd been exploring them, but don't see too much in the press.

The API is comprehensive, and it makes ACH2 payments. The error codes are many and mysterious. We don't know which ones will be prevalent, are therefore how to invest in dealing with them.
