What's the best webinar software?

Curious what webinar software people have had a positive experience with. Which ones have you found useful and worth the money?Would be great for it to have a playback feature, allow people to ask questions/interact, and not be super expensive. Any ideas would be helpful!

Give GoToWebinar a try. It looks to be quite straight forward and has a 30 day free trial for you to work out any kinks.

It does all the things you mentioned (and more).

How many people will be attending your webinars? Most pricing models seem to be based on that.

Hi Eleanor, I haven't found a perfect webinar solution yet. I've conducted over 1,000 webinars and have used Google+ Hangouts On Air, Webex, GoToWebinar, LiveMeeting, Adobe Connect, omNovia, Join.me, PGi and a host of others. I like Webex okay, however, the biggest drawback for me is their proprietary recording format which requires downloading and converting the file in a couple of steps to get it to MP4. The other issue with Webex is the price. None of them have the flexibility that I want in terms of registration customization and management. One tool that I've used recently is an overlay on Google Hangouts called Webinar Jam. It works well but doesn't have as sophisticated polling options and user controls. Also, the attendees will need to have a Google account. However, for a startup the price is right. That's what I've been using recently and I'm pretty happy with it. Here is the link to their site: www.webinarjam.com What type of webinars are you wanting to run? I'm happy to chat if you have any questions. Best, Jeff Fugitt Founder & CEO AuthorityForce v. I agree with Jeff's comments about Webex - and it doesn't support Linux, so I would not recommend that one.

Within our company we use Google+ Hangouts. We have found Skype and Webex to be quite buggy, poor quality when connecting to people around the world in conference calls, and also expensive. Google Hangouts are free and we have found the technology to be quite good.
