Good investment brief template?

I have just started the fund raising process for my P2P Marketplace platform. We have users, traction, revenues, 3 products and industry partherships. Potential Angel investors have asked for an Investment Brief. Does anyone have a good format for this?

The truth is that you will find investment briefs vary according to the preferences of the funding source you are working with. My own personal opinion is a preliminary brief should hit all the key points and do so in one page. I use the same template each time, just vary the content and adjust for specifics of the opportunity being presented.

BUT I have also seen investment briefs that are more than one page. I think it boils down to something similar to the often used theory that "If you can explain your business in one or two sentences you don't know your business". If you can't explain in a single page you....

My two cents..others will have theirs.

Hello Mike, thanks for sharing it. I don't see the template link posted over here. I wanted to have a peek at it and compare to others as I needed one pretty soon for my company.

I don't believe that there is any one template that can be used for investment purposes. All investors have different things that they are looking for and the time you have to present (If you are lucky enough to present in their presence) is very important. I would suggest create your own template based on the top ten that you get from the net. Create a universal template that can be pitched in 2 minutes, read and understood in 2 minutes and have a backup presentation with the details.
