What are some techniques you've used to get traffic to landing pages during customer dev?

More specifically, I'm looking for next order techniques beyond bugging friends/family, forum postings, spamming social channels... ie, spray and pray. We do have an incentive to share the landing page.

Content marketing is in the works, but I'm looking for short term tactics we can use to iterate more quickly.

update:
I was asking specifically for the case of 'concierge mvp' type landing pages as opposed to the landing page created once you've figured out what you're building. But advice on both kinds is appreciated, thanks!

It depends whether the concept is B2B or B2C.

I am going to be doing the same thing in the next week or so.

Blogads is interesting, you can get huge impressions for very cheap on some sites. Which blogs you choose naturally segments visitors. http://web.blogads.com/

I am also investigating long-tail key phrase AdWords. Maybe a desired key phrase with a city appended. Might be dreaming, checking CPCs now.

Also look into what the new facebook graph search can do for you. You could get some laser targeted leads by stringing together a bunch of conditional phrases that would isolate your target demographic. Then you could design ads that only show up for them! Its scary yet useful at the same time!

-usertesting.com - you can get the profile of customer you're looking for go through the entire experience without needing to deliver (if shipping products). Their experience with the landing page is recorded in video and you also get text answers.
-reddit/hn - depending on the market there might be a good match for a subreddit and full/no match with the HN crowd.
-craigslist/kijiji - this is the blunt definition of concierge MVP for a new product :)

I will advise against FB ads. Hyper targeting is great but those ads are invisible to people.

Actually, regarding FB ads...I think they're visible if you target carefully. I spent $200 to acquire 1200 facebook likes within 2 weeks. We then got about ~20% conversion rate (signups on my site). So basically I spent $1 each to acquire about 200 new, highly targeted and relevant users.
