What tools do you use to report to your startup's investors, mentors and other stakeholders?

Since I joined accelerator program I've been looking for a convenient and efficient (for both sides) way to keep the mentors and investors updated about the progress my startup is making. The default approach was to send email updates to mentors once in a while and to fill in an excel form with a bunch of KPIs and a list of things we needed help with. This method doesn't allow for any real tracking - you can't easily compare the present against the past or the targets. The information is scattered all over inboxes of the people who receive it.

I was looking for a better way to do this and after a short google search found the following:
Seederboard- this seems the most attractive, as it allows me to share news with any number of people without forcing them to buy subscription to read my updates, there are nice charts with numbers as well as space for announcements. It's quite pricey though.
Invrep
Hockeystick- these two don't seem to solve the problem, it's just that they are a neater form than email+excel file

I'm curious what tools you use for reporting and what are your recommendations to make the process time-efficient and the information easier to analyse.

Timely, as I'm looking for a solution as well.

There is dashboard.vc, though I haven't played with it too much yet.

I have used Lean Launch Lab in the past. It is based on the Business Model Canvas and Lean principles, so it may or may not apply to your project. I was an early MVP tester of the tool, and it was effective in 2012. It's had a little more time under it's belt, so I assume it has gotten even better. https://www.leanlaunchlab.com/

Check out my company, Visible. We make it easy for entrepreneurs to update all of their investors in one place. We also make it easy for investors to get insight into their portfolio companies, actually be value-add, etc.

Check out all the functionality for founders here. Also feel free message me on FDand I'll help get anything setup for you!

Lean Launch Lab looks awesome on first try. However, could not find a way to keep mentors/investors up to date there. Maybe I am missing something very obvious?

Brahm, it's been a while since I used Lean Launch Lab, but I believe there is a way to add collaborators in various roles. They opt in to function in that role, and then they receive emails. They can also provide feedback directly in the system somehow, but I don't remember how that worked.

Co-founder and CEO at Foundersuite
Hi guys, jumping in to the mix. We at Foundersuite make a tool for updating investors & stakeholders, simply called "Investor Update" that includes an interactive progress chart + all the standard items like Key Data Table, Note from CEO, Ask for Help, etc. We pushed v2 of it a few weeks ago. Would love your feedback.

One of the nice elements is it lets you, the founder, see who's actually read your reports...so you know who's paying attention (and who isn't). It's $7 a month so hopefully won't break the bank :)
