Reasonable Shipping post Kickstarter

I'm planning to launch a campaign, but something that is bothering me is the shipping costs, both nationally and internationally. What do people generally use for shipping post Kickstarter? Regular shipping options like USPS, UPS etc or is there any service that is cheaper?

Specifically, as for my product, it weighs 30 pounds and measures 2ftx1.5ftx1.5ft so it is faily big and bulky..

Hi Arnav,

Before I launched my Kickstarter I searched out fulfillment centers that could handle the volume that we would potentially need to ship. You will find that shipping is expensive regardless of size and unfortunately there is no good way to get around it. We are using a company called Fulfillrite to ship our over 1000 Kickstarter rewards for the Screw Grabber. I'd suggest reaching out to them and asking about their prices. If you decide to use a center most of them will want continued business and might require minimum monthly shipments.

Hi, there is actually a company now that provides you those deep discounts without requiring any volume commitments (big win for startups and anyone using KickStarter). It is called PostageAnywhere.com and I'm now getting involved with the business, so I can tell you more if you're interested. Basically, you can compete with the big boys if you use this service right out of the gate. Contact me if you want to learn more.
