Ways to make money

I have been thinking of the ways to classify startups in how they intend to make money. Here are four ways I have identified. Would love to know what other ways are there to look at it. Some other classification? Something I have missed? https://medium.com/p/550fba799257

Fred Wilson compiled a list of business models via AVC about two years ago. Google 'AVC.com List of Business Models' and you should be able to find it quickly -- he created a Hackpad to host the list of responses.

Thanks Rob, Alan and Chris. These are very good lists (and I have bookmarked Alan's link :) ). However, I was trying to answer 'why' a customer will pay (the motivation) and not 'how' (the exact business models in the list). For example, all of ads generate revenue because you are making money for the advertising brand. But I guess this is another way to look at things :) ? - Brahm
